Ysgol Plascrug School
At Plascrug School, we aim to establish a climate within the school and classroom in which all children can develop lively, enquiring minds and learn at a pace relevant to their own experience and ability. Pupils develop competence in many skills, e.g. Numeracy, Literacy, I.C.T., and are able to use these skills with increased confidence, competence, understanding and pleasure in all areas of the curriculum as they progress through the school.
About Our School
Plascrug Community Primary School is an LEA maintained School situated in the beautiful, coastal town of Aberystwyth, Ceredigion. The majority of the children who attend the school are from the town itself, however, during recent years, due to the excellent reputation the school has earned, many pupils now travel from further distances i.e. up to 40 miles radius.
Missions & Aims
At Plascrug School, we will ensure that each child thrives in our school, which puts children at the centre of our community. We believe that every pupil has the potential to make excellent progress in developing lifelong skills in a bilingual environment that is safe, caring and inspiring. We will give each child the best possible chance to succeed, celebrating with them each step of the way.

Attending Our School
Each year group at Plascrug School has two classes that work closely together. The children get to know all their peers in the year group and the staff really well.
Digital Wizards are elected members from Years 5 and 6 who meet on a weekly basis at lunch time to undertake different IT related projects such as coding. They also help support teachers and pupils throughout the school.
These are elected members from Years 2-6, from each class who meet regularly. They are a very important body within the school that is often consulted in decisions that relate to school life.
